Did you know I loved you?

Did you know I loved you?

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

My niece committed suicide. 28 years old. My mind is struggling.

"

Did you know I loved you..

1- Silence words are meaningless.

Did I tell you I loved you, did I tell you I adored you?

Did I tell you I would be the loneliness man alive,

if you left my world.

2- Beautiful Moriah, your grew so tall.

You became a beautiful butterfly,

flying freely in a wild world.

Today the sad man ask the night.

Did I ask you. Were you okay?

Now the beautiful butterfly had left our world and

I wonder. Did I do enough?

3- I asked the goddess of the Lake St. Clair.

Dear Clara De Poble.

Did I do enough, did I do anything?

Dear Clara De Pobre,

why do our children seek death over life?

Please accept dear Moriah into the warmth of your arms.

Please show her, she will never be forgotten, she is precious..

The world seems more painful, more empty, with much more grief and sadness without them who has left us. The pain is real, and with it we remember what really mean to love someone. But there should always be a glitter of hope, even a small light of happiness. Our pure, white and warm souls never could do any harm to others only these "eartly bounded bodies" with our earthly feelings could grown to so much heaviness that our body cannot stand it. Our souls are always made of pure love and kindness. I lost my father to suicide, his sister's to illness (with broken heart). I almost lost myself too with broken heart but someone who was with me saved me.

I am sad to read and hear this. I truly believe that you did your best, John. And she too. No matter, she was loved.

Thank you for sharing it.

Safe journey.

Thank you Robert. I appreciate the comment.
Such a sad poem, we will always wonder, but deep down they know more than we can try to understand.
Now she will be okay well that's what she wanted, I am sorry for your loss, do remember she's an angel now.
Sometimes we have no control over such sad happenings, it's something we learn to get on with and accept in timing.

Of course I never said no to that. You're welcome
I wish from every depths of my heart that she hearts your words loud and clear and hope their warmth reach her, it truly aches to know how we couldn't see past their smile they put up while being strong, depression is a curse and even it clouds over the love given to us...I wish you warmth my friend, this void, I understand is a heavy one.

You're very welcome. Take care.
Such a sad and beautiful write. One never knows what is happening with a loved one, at times we miss the signs that flow across their eyes, seeping deep into a loved ones soul. Beautifully expressed ;-}

Thank you my friend.
When someone close commits suicide unexpectedly, the survivors often wonder if they could have done something to prevent it. In the vast majority of these cases, though, I would say no, especially if the person was dealing with depression. Depressed people just want to end a pain they can no longer bear. I say this as a retired mental health worker with 27 years of experience.

Thank you my friend. The leftovers always wonder could their could of been kinder.
I am so sorry to hear this, and I am indeed sure she knew you loved her and cared deeply for her. That is never the type of thing that I want to have to inspire writing, you can feel your grief and love and feelings in this and it's quite powerful.
