"

The death of love. A lonely lullaby…

(May-day new poetry number one.)

1- Once upon a time,

you came to me at midnight and

you went to my bedroom.

You stripped off your clothing and

you waited for me.

I went to you and

you laid bare for me to see with love in your eyes.

Was a good night.

2- She told me,

we have said enough words.

Please allow the silence of us

to find places,

where we were once kind to each other.

3- We meet at midnight,

we talk little.

We kiss and we touch,

we need gentle hands,

we need kind kisses on our skin.

We tried to remember when we needed love.

Today we laid in the darkness,

the darkness allowed us to play hide and seek.

In a silence prayer to the night, I told her.

The death of love, a lonely lullaby.

When love turn cold and

lovers bleed out their last emotions.

Someone must be brave enough,

to escape.

Your words are both gentle and sincere throughout, John. There is a spiritual feel to this where something far, far higher than lust holds a forever genuine memory. Perhaps the best of your best.

Sometimes love is like a flame that slowly burns itself out. It's a sad part of life that happens all the time.
Well done, Coyote.

I agree my friend. Sometime a separation. We must do and thank you for reading and the comment.
You pissed on me my brother more than other two.

Its my mistake to give respect to you till now. You proved unworthy of it.

I feel that the darkness is there because the love is gone. All that we need, the soft touch, the gentle kiss are gone, and all that we have left is the awaiting for the final end.

Take care - Dave
