The sea is near...A Poem by Coyote PoetryApril is poetry month. New poetry number twenty-nine.)The sea is near.. (April is poetry month. New poem number twenty-nine.) 1- Once upon a-time. I found the Pacific ocean. I went to her and I tossed off my shoes. Took off my pant and my shirt. I ran into the arms of the sea. Allowed the cold December water to overtake my body. I reached to the sky and I told the Goddess of the sea. I have found my true love. 2- Beautiful Sara was a singer, she would sang the old songs for peace and calm. She told me, I love your poetry. You words are seductive and easy to take. Let’s find the sea and let’s drink some coffee. Please bring your chess board and we can listen to the sea. Play a game or two. I told dear Sara, for a song. I would anything your heart desire. She smiled and she me tightly. She told me. For some kind words and a game of chess. I will sing to you to the midnight hours by the sea.
