Please one more dance near the sea..

(April, the Poetry month number fourteen.)

The Monterey pretty poet name Diane read to me.

“Laughing, crying.

Wanting, begging.

Celebrating, complaining.

Seeking nothing and wanting nothing.

We like the hello and we hate the goodbyes.

We were daytime drinkers,

sin seekers and we loved story and tale.

Us, damn poets love the taste of misery,

we seek war to feel the pain,

we seek the dirt of our world to know the truth.

We believe, we must bleed and burn, to write.

Are we seeking peace or chaos.?”

I lifted the pretty poet off the sand and I told her.

Dear Diane, life is minutes, life is hours and

sometimes. We need a lifetime to understand.

Tonight we have the Pacific ocean near and

the song of sea is playing.

Please one more dance by the sea my dearest friend.

Let’s enjoy these hours where Goddess of the sea is blessing us.

The ocean is caressing our feet and we know can peace for a time.

Diane smiled and she whispered. Please twirl me a hundred times,

let’s pretend we are alone by the sea.

Let’s pretend life is fair and love is everything Johnnie.

I told her. My kind princess,

your wish is my wish.
