Kill or be kind..

Kill or be kind..

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Samantha Fish made me write these words.

"
Kill or be kind..
1- I told her my lady dressed in black.
Thank you for the dance, thank you for the kisses.
I will love you till the end of the world and
I will allow you to escape my life.
2- Darkest brown eyes gal in Texas,
dressed in black. Heels and rosie red nylons on her pale skin.
I love you Johnnie, we are the same.
We killed love and we are never kind.
We are hell bound and we have accepted the journey.
3-  You and I, we don't speak pretty words.
We take, we steal from each other.
Once you feared my kiss and now you demand more.
Are we greedy?
Or did we learn, Love demand great payment.
We cannot pay.

Love does demand a lot of give and take...perhaps a bit of greediness is in the mix as well. Pretty words are lovely to read, but the conversations between lovers must also be truthful. Hell bound....hmmmm....not sure that is true, but you have to live your life as you see fit without worrying about what happens next. I think you have paid plenty to have love in your life. Your poetry is always so romantic. Lydi**

Love can be special and love can be mean. Seems like everything emotional, can come and go, whether one wants that or not. For the heart on one's sleeve kind of being, wanting, needing and loving comes at the sane time - as it does for you, sir.. . take it when the two seeks something special. For others love can be a brief essential or wanted familiarity that could be, might be, special.. it depends on how the cards are dealt, perhaps!

I agree my dear friend. Dear Pryde. Thank you for reading and the comment.
Foot loose and fancy free came to mind John. But also two people can be toxic to each other as well, just not a good mix no matter how you shake it. nice write John.

Thank you Andrew for reading and the comment. Good to be young and seeking more life.
you can't win in this world...it seems she kissed you and tossed you out...a rather bitter scene with a bit of mystery in it..but you always manage to smooth it over with a glass of whiskey...I believe greediness is in our nature,...however in a relationship greed should not even be a word.... well written in your inimitable
style John....

Dear, Cayote Poetry.
Loved the video. Pretty blond.
I love the whole sound.
The poem speaks to me, a lot. A love one sided. Because a woman loves stronger in the end,
and I love the line that I most painstakingly, "we don't pretty words" great poem!

Ah! I missed these words for a long! Just love your style as always. How are you, my friend? I took a break from writerscafe for almost two years. I hope you're doing well.
