Painting pretty pictures.

Painting pretty pictures.

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Elle Carpenter song and story gave me reasons to write. We learn often in a life. Love will brake our heart. Dear Elle lost her husband of five years and is trying to stand-up again.

Painting pretty pictures..
Tonight I am drinking the Irish coffee and I am remembering better days.
I am painting pretty pictures with my words and I am trying to remember your face.
I am trying to remember your coffee brown eyes and the gentleness of your voice.
I added some Gentleness Jack to the Irish Coffee and I paint a beautiful day by Lake St. Clair where I held you close and I kissed your neck.
I painted a memory of when you told me. I love you Johnnie and
I pray you love me too.
Tonight I pray to hear your voice again and I made a wish to the rising moon.
Please tell my dearest love. I love you still and I miss you so.
Tonight I painted a pretty picture of a beautiful day and I know.
A angel is always with me. Whispering in my dreams.
Johnnie, you will be okay. One day.
You and me will dance in the clouds and our love will always be.

Maybe if we write enough words the face will appear clearly enough.
after all, as poets, we hope to paint pictures....it is what we do.
and our words help us to hold on to love.
