Barefoot girl...

Barefoot girl...

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Nothing as beautiful as a woman who is barefoot, dancing with the sea and happy.

"
Barefoot girl..

Prettiest girl in Iron Mountain told me. Let's find the Lake Superior, drink some rum and pineapple juice.
Drink and dance into the late night.

I held her tightly near the Lake Superior and she told me. Love making should be kisses, massage and
soft touch and pleasure. True love is morning walks near the Lake Superior, drinking coffee and standing.
Near the big water watching the sun fall into the west and dancing with the lake with the stars and
moon above us.

I told her. She is my only kindness in my wild world. Please stay with me till the end of days.

She told me in her quiet voice. We can't worry above tomorrow. We must make this day, our best day.

She gets up and she run to the Lake Superior, I watched her shoeless feet touch the cold water.
She told me often. Sorry Johnnie. No shoes on my feet from April to October.

I thank the stars, I thank the goddess of the lake for my beautiful gal in her cotton dress.
I asked the night. Please allow me to know and love my barefoot girl forever.
