You Say That The Battle Is Over

And you say that the battle is over, and you say that the war is all done.
Go tell it to those with the wind in their nose who run from the sound of the gun.
And write it on the sides of the great whaling-ships,
or on ice floes where conscience is tossed.
With the wild in their eyes, it is they who must die,

1- When the last man is standing. Every child was murdered by war, every person lay in mass graves. He will ask the dark sky. Who won? He will tell the night. No-one did.

2- Martin Luther King Jr. was against the Vietnam war. He didn't want no young person fighting and dying in the faraway wars.

3- Do we remember, who started the wars? Hamas attacked and Israel attacked. Russian attacking Ukraine. The world is in chaos. 27 active conflicts today. I have one question. Is war fought for profit? IS war fought for religion? Is war fought for hate? You can't say peace and war in the same sentence. They are opposite. If you scream murder and kill. You are not seeking peace or safety for your people.

4- I am like Mother Teresa. I would join a organization for peace. I would stand with people trying to stop the bombing of Palestine and stop the teaching of murder of the Jewish people. 27 active conflicts in our world. Jewish, Arabs and all people must stand as one for peace. Or we will fall together.

5- I saw the dead bodies on October seven in Israel. I watched another great country being destroyed. I hear the voices of hate, I hear the voices of revenge and I hear the screams of the children. Who is wrong, who is right? When both sides are wrong? Now voices from other countries are screaming. More death, more murder. Countries sending weapons and guns to the war with smiles. Who will profit from the war?

6- The Muslims people. They say. They want peace. The Christian people. They say. They want peace. If you are seeking peace with a raised fist and loaded gun. You are not seeking peace. You have become the brother of death and murder.

7- We need men like Martin Luther King Jr. today. We need men and women to walk together for the goal of peace. You can't scream murder and peace in the same sentence.

8- The last man standing told the Lake St. Clair. Why did we allow hate? why did we allow religion to separate us. I will leave you with the last quote.

Fabulous Write Coyote. I no longer know who is right and who is wrong in the Middle East Conflict. Sunak and Biden want a Full-Scale War to distract from problems at home. This is a major offering Coyote, raising many a question.
I read somewhere that the very first indication of mankind showed evidence of war, which would indicate it being cemented right into our DNA.
However, I do feel that in addition to our over abundance of self centered, species destroying, greed, it is religion that has added endless fuel to the flame.
IMO, It is a divisive concept and indicates this supposed God, thinks we are merely some kind of computer game that has been made for him to toy with!!
How many different religions are there in the middle east---it just confuses me.
Bad enough what we are doing to each other but if the animal world could register its complaints, there would be no end to that list
The unfortunate fact is that we are a hopelessly flawed species which may eventually prove to be stupid enough to eliminate itself, Along with an uncountable number of plants and animals.

War is because of greed and the big egos of men voted into power mostly i think John.
Also religion does not help, so many preach peace but they only mean peace by denying others rights and beliefs... that is not peace at all.
Peace is the true belief that all men are created equal regardless of race or colour and RESPECT is the key word for me.
This is only my thoughts on the subject , i do respect the thoughts of others, including those like yourself that have had to experience war and killings of the obbocent first hand..

You ask some searching questions there John. I am convinced that war is for profit and that is why will still have them. I am further convinced that governments have less to do with large conflicts than do multi nationals and the media. Particularly the owners of the right wing media. Also to them war means profit.
