She's crazy...

She's crazy...

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Jazzy poetry today my friends.

"
She's crazy...
She dance alone on the Monterey pier and she doesn't give a damn who is looking.
She is the prettiest gal in Monterey and she don't like pretty words.
She told me often. Johnnie, we are running away from memories
and sometimes we are running to the old memories.
We are running to better days, trying to escape the naysayers.
We are trying to catch old memories and we are trying to remember beautiful faces and beautiful places.
We miss the kisses, we miss  the gentle embraces.
We whine a lot, we cry a lot.
And we get what we deserve.
When Winter is near. We know the loneliness. It is a sickness Johnnie.
I told her she is crazy. I told her she is crazy beautiful.
You are a Winter storm, who fear no-one, who fear nothing except love.
You need everything and you want more and more.
You and I.
Just foolish dancer on the dangerous sea of life.
She laughed at my words and she told me.
Dark Monterey poet. You are my only friend.
You like me, as is.
Please let's buy some Gentleman Jack and find the Gypsies.
Time to sing and yell to the Goddess of the sea.
We want no-more.
Maybe you can take me to Big Sur in the morning.
Me and you can watch the morning sun rise and know some peace.
I told her. Your wish is my command. I love my wild gal to know peace and calm.
I need Big Sur too.

Wild and free; she is not bound to love, but anchored to the sea.
The poet wants to share in her free spirit, lonesome dance and romance chance. They draw the poet/ soldier in and he gives them love tunics and gin.
He likes to heal them from old ailments and make them fresh and new.
Wow!

Wild as the wind, no longer the breeze, cannot be tamed but what an experience. It’s a double edged sword though, ecstasy followed by agony when the wind(her) has passed. Domestication is not for her.

Ps. I love Eva Green, so beautiful. The woman in the film clip.

Me too Andrew. Eva Green is so amazing.
A free spirit. I love that she doesn’t care. She dances for herself, not to the tune of others. Wish there were more like her. Living in the moment.

Making others happy is the fuel for true hippieness in ourselves, living in the moment and being sensitive to others needs is so special. This poem offers a sliver of what would make a better world.

I agree Soren. We need to be kind to each other. Thank you for reading and the comment.
Reminds me of the romances of my youth, the joys and the foolishness... I always seemed to attract bold women, which suits me just fine... love, loss, friendship, memories... fine writing, friend

Ah, the fiery ladies...
Coyote, you have run into some wild ladies in your time. This one seems to have been a brass plated, pedal to the metal individualist, with not a care for what society says. That's why she can dance alone on the pier and cast her fate to the winds. Such ladies should be treasured before they burn out.
