I want to write like Robert Greene..A Poem by Coyote PoetryI found a new poet to read. They said he was mad. I want to be like Robert Greene. Lost in the madness of everything.I want to write like Robert Greene (1558-1592)..She was a daisy in a field of grass. She asked me, dear Johnnie, my darling. What do you see in me? I kissed her hands and I told her. I see the most kissable girl in my world. She laughed at my words and she whispered. Kisses demand payment. Honey , dear. Can you afford the payment? I told her. You are a beautiful daisy in the field of grass. Dancing and moving with the wind. A blessing for the sun. "We want everything, we want nothing. We love the beauty of the world and we need the ugly of the world. We can be nice and not be nice. We can be sweet, we can be bitter. We can hold love near or keep love afar. We can borrow kisses or steal kisses. We can know one night as lovers, we can know one week as lovers or maybe seek forever. Please hand my hands, please read to me stories at midnight and let's dance to Leonard Cohen at 3 am. Let's find the 6 am sea, dance and sing to her. Let's make the morning sun smile. She smiled and she asked. How many kisses is the payment. I whispered, all of them. Dancing Coyote
