1-  I didn't know it was the last night I would see your face.

I didn't know it would be the time I would hear your voice and

I didn't know it was our last gentle kiss.

If I knew.

I would of stayed forever and I would of held you tighter.

2-  You told me, we masquerade as lovers,

we make promises, we cannot keep.

I am the days of Summer and you love the days of Winter.

Are we dancers on the dangerous sea,

seeking some comfort in the storm of life.

3- There it is dear Johnnie.

You can stay or you can go?

I told you often dear Johnnie.

A soldier love is myth and tale.

You love the journey, you love the drink.

You believe love will never die.

Dear Johnnie, there its is.

Decide soon, my heart is lonely.

Love doesn't die, just become forgotten in the sin of time.
