My Iron Mountain girl..A Poem by Coyote PoetryMemories become sweet wine in old age.My Iron Mountain girl.. Prettiest gal in Iron Mountain saw him drinking his whiskey alone and she frowned a negative face. She imagined his world was fun and okay. She went to him, she shared merely a soft whisper. Please Johnnie, smile for me. Please dance with me and please whisper some sweet love words. Let's create poetry tonight. Please Johnnie, please write poetry on my bare skin tonight and let's find safe place where we can laugh or cry. He looked at her. She was so beautiful and as wild, as the Lake Superior. She wore a skimpy black dress and she smell of the wildflowers. He loved her Winter pale skin and he adored her smile. He needed her voice and her coffee brown eyes. She told him. Tonight we will play. Show and tell. I will show you my scars and you can show me your scars. We will allow our minds and hearts to run freely, into the possibility of the unknown. Maybe we can teach each other to smile again? Remember Johnnie, us Iron Mountain gals, we like to drink, we like to dance and we like to lay nude in our bed till noon. And I want to make you smile again. He told her. My beautiful Kathy. You always make me smile and I want to make you smile my dear love. She took his hands and she whispered. In the cold Winter of Iron Mountain, we need skin again skin, lips again lips and soft words. Cold night need warm hand and thousand tender kisses. She kissed his face, she kissed his lips. She whispered to the night. Please give us, easy days and wild nights. Please allow happiness to overcome sadness. He brought her close and he whispered to her. Love wait for no-one. We must seek and find beautiful Kathy. I love you my Iron Mountain storm. She smiled and she whispered. I love you too Johnnie. Dancing Coyote
