The first day of Autumn..

The first day of Autumn..

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Trying to revive my muse.

"
First day of Autumn.

1- The warm days of Summer are holding on. The grandchildren want to swim in Lake St. Clair and to enjoy the warm days of Autumn. The leave are turning and Halloween is coming. The kind days of September. I do love.

2- I have learn. Life is like the four seasons. We must survive Winter and re-plant new flowers into the Spring soil. Life is lesson and more lessons. Today I remember my grandfather words. Please Johnnie, lead with concern, kindness and love.

Yes dear John, the "warm day of summer are hanging on"... so tight it barely feels like fall, but it is!!! i like the way you composed this poem in two parts...how wonderful it is for the grand kids, etc and part two is about learning the change of seasons and adjusting to them; and what you learned about kindness and love from you grandfather. Nice write my friend....

This is such a sincere and deeply thought piece of writing, John. Every seasons has its special blessing. Autumn is beautiful, offers vibrant colours in spite of starting a year's gradual fading. Your grandfather has obviously passed his wisdom to you, sir.

The beauty of each season is always more inviting with a child in the foreground pulling us along. While laughter fills the air.
