Where are the people seeking peace?A Poem by Coyote PoetryThank you dear Marianne for the song. When will we seek peace, not separation? 1- I found 24 bodies in a river in Bosnian. Just old people, women and children. Me and my soldiers body bags them. They were murders by the hammer. To save bullets. We prayed and cried for them. This is all we could do. 2- In Africa, starvation left dead bodies everywhere. My soldiers and me. We collected the body of the dead. We buried then in mass graves. Dead bodies will create sickness and disease. We did pray for them. 3- After Death Valley, me and many soldiers had to go to Death Valley in Iraq. We collected 10,000 dead Iraqi soldiers bodies. Some were in pieces and we gave them. The mercy killing. A shot to make their death less painful. I learn, the Iraqi soldiers. Just men dying for the hate of another. 4- War, my friend. No-one will win. Coyote © 2023 Coyote PoetryAuthor's Note
