A Summertime love.A Poem by Coyote PoetryMy muse is alive and well tonight.A Summertime love.. Dear Veronica, she knew I adored her. She sat near me and her bare feet caressed the softness of the grass. She asked me. Would you love me when my ginger hair turn gray? Will you adore me, when my mind become less? Will you dance with me in the Winter of my life? She stood up and she curtsey toward me and she whispered. What is your answer kind sir? I told her. My dearest love Veronica. You are my Summertime love, my Autumn blessing. You are my Winter time wish and my Springtime joy. I love you when you wear your cotton white hat on a windy day, I will love you when your hair is turning gray and I will love you till our last day together. We will dance in the Winter of your life and everyday of our life together. I will be thankful for your gentle voice, your beautiful smile and those kind eyes that make me feel loved. I will hold you closer when we begin to forget and I will remind you daily. You are the love of my life. You are the last face, I want to see. She smiled and she told me. Kind prince, please dance with me today by the sea. Please make this day, our best day. We need to create more good days, so we can remember in our days of Winter. We rose-up and we dance for the sea. And the Goddess of the sea. Smiled. Knowing the miracle of love was alive and well today. Dancing Coyote
