Run away with me.

Run away with me.

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

A old poem written in 1991.

"
Run away with me...
Sweetest and prettiest gal in Ann Arbor.
Please run away with me.
Let's toss all our useless dreams away and please take my hand.
Hand in hand, we will roam to the sea,
we will free-climb the free mountains
and we will seek new places and new cities.
Wrap your arms around me and we will never fear being alone again.
Let's dance in the streets of San Francisco, let's suicide board the great storms of the California Winter.
Lets' drink and dance in the streets of Austin, Texas on New Year eve. Let us find dear New Orleans and fall into her arms.
Please run away with me, my love.
We can leave the sadness behind us and create new dreams, learn to laugh again.
Walk fearless and unafraid for we will have each other love to keep us strong.
Dancing Coyote

A plea for unity that I think many of us have felt. We need someone to share with to lean against in the storms of life and someone to share the joys and pleasures of living. We all long for a soulmate to guide us at times and have our back at others. It is so nice to have someone to laugh with us, laughing alone is not the same.

It just reminds me of Aurora' "Runaway "

Sometimes we urge and dreams of things happening all in our favor... but it's life... full of happening... !!!

"It'll crap you when you know what to do well..."

Keep penning.

Climb high shoot for the stars. There is an aura about your writing John. A brutal and beautiful reality that throws cold water on your face. Good or bad here it is. Nice work.

Thank you Duff. Love can be a two-edge sword. But we must try.
I can remember those feelings as a seventeen year old. I just wanted to spend every moment of my time with my beau, Yes, that wanting to run from everyone and everything and have adventures. You took me back Coyote with your beautiful words.

Me too dear Chris. The days of our youth. When we were brave. Thank you for reading and the comment.

Yes, we were brave then :)
Your life seems to have been full of fine ladies and the making of precious memories - not one more exciting or emotional than another., John. This one is less exotic than others written about a moment or few overseas.. but touches on familiar places familiar to both of you, perhaps.. an at home, comfortable but passionate time. You write so lovingly, sir.

Thank you dear Emma. A very old poem. I appreciate the comment.
I knew that feeling when I was young many moons ago....the idea of escaping "REAL" life and just wandering together from place to place, dance like the stars and love like moon's beam.....share your tales, sad or happy but be free and come with me, I know the way....This is alluring and exciting...
Live your words John....
Best, B
