You are beautiful.

You are beautiful.

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Remembering Christina Grimmie.

"
You are beautiful..

1- Our children were murdered in our school. Wonderful teachers were killed in our schools. Beautiful children and beautiful teachers murdered. I remember them. I pray they have found a safe place. A place for the teachers to protect their children and the children can be free of fear.

2- Beautiful grandmas and beautiful grandpas were killed Buffalo. What do you tell their grandchildren? How many more must die before we learn. We (USA) don't need 800 million guns and weapons in the USA. I pray the grandmothers and the grandfathers are waiting for their family. In a safe place where love is alive and well.

3- Once beautiful woman lay dying alone in Reno. The world stole her heart and soul away. Left her alone to die alone. I wish I told her a million times. She was so beautiful, she was so wonderful. I didn't. I pray dear Cheryl found peace in heaven. I believe even broken hearten angels have a place in heaven. I believe the people, who suffered the most. Maybe the Gods of life and death. They will be kind to them.

4- I cried a tear every time I hear Christina Grimmie sing. I wish I could tell her. You are so beautiful and you made the world, a better place. Once upon a time. Someone killed a angel and I don't understand, why? I know in heaven, one day. I will hear her joyous voice, a beautiful voice. Thank you Christina Grimmie.

This truly is a beautiful write, reading this made me cry a little bit but, you are so very right. I myself wonder and hope that those souls we have lost have now found peace and serenity in their new life. I'm hoping and wishing that those families have found peace and can move on without forgetting and remember the lost ones with much love and happy memories.

A fitting, sad tribute making sense out of the senseless mass shootings. You raise awareness about a worthy cause.
As you know, rights on e given are hard to take back; they become privileges. Couple that with a massive, big business in America and you are against a mountain.
I see the points on both sides of the debate. Hard subject and pills to swallow. Best of wishes.

I agree. You are welcome.
Human life is far more important than anything else.
Your words are beautiful Coyote. I don’t understand the need for guns either. We do not have the same access to them over here. So no mass shootings after Dunblane many years ago. The laws were changed. We do have issues with gangs and knife crime and there are many who have mental health problems, but they can’t be blamed for all the murders that take place. I listened to Christina Grimmie sing. What a lovely voice she has. Thank you for sharing.

Me too dear Kat. We must change our world to a safe place. Thank you for reading and the comment.
America has an overwhelming "mental health" problem, not a "gun" problem and until everyone understands and addresses the "real" issue nothing can or will be done about it. The morality of America has disintegrated over the last five decades to the point that it's practically non existent. The family unit as the foundation of stability to our society has become compromised, twisted and broken. And so, we get very confused, broken and emotionally unstable children growing up into confused, broken and emotionally unstable adults as the result of that. Guns are not the problem. I've lived with guns all my life. All my neighbors own guns. On any given day I will hear someone practicing with their firearms but the murder rate in my community is zero. Nobody is getting shot here. Also the crime rate is very low and the police presence is welcome and our local officers are respected and familiar. I know over half the cops in our town by sight, They help our children and are present at community events at Halloween, Easter and Christmas. They sponsor an annual bike ride and other events for the kids. We also have a community DARE program. Also, all our police officers carry guns. No. It's not a gun problem. It's a morality problem. It's a mental health problem. And it's very much a denial problem that there is a mental health crisis and a morality crisis in America that began with the breakdown of the family unit. You can't legislate morality. It has to be taught in the home. You can't legislate common sense or make parents be better parents to their kids. You can't keep mom and dad from fighting, getting drunk, doing drugs and acting like idiots so you just blame the "guns" and slap that fake label on the issue. No. It's NOT a gun problem. It's a "people" problem. But some "people" are NEVER going to figure that out because they are just too stupid to pay attention or they just don't care. It's really easier for them and much simpler to spread the rhetoric that guns are the problem. So they continue to blame an inanimate object for their own social failure to address the truth.

Dear Coyote, your pure heart and words always speak such truths. Christina’s sweet song, voice and piano notes touch my heart. Gunshots cannot silence her angel voice. How has this country gone so wrong, become so irresponsible? I hardly recognize this place I love anymore. Every day, more deaths, more violence, more suffering. Maybe it’s just our turn in line to kneel to these things? I will never believe that. Thank God your poetry raises the questions, and the mirror.

Loss is difficult and the more so when we don't understand the reason or feel that it was unfair or absurd. We live in a world of change and with it loss. I'm not sure that I will ever come to terms with it. They say that this is because I am growing old but I think it is because I miss what was (or what I thought was).

You are right Soren. Hard to understand this world.
John, this country has so many problems. Starting from top down for so long. The mass shootings in our schools and streets It’s beyond disheartening. No one needs an AR15. Its purpose is to kill. Think this country has lost the ability to understand the common good and they call that freedom. A heartfelt write my friend.

If you are going to have guns you need to have gun laws. In England and Australia no kids are killed by guns.
Guns just give you a right to kill not to protect. But you can’t reeducate people in your country because you have to tackle the crime rate first to make people feel safe without guns. Kids will always die under your current system. But banning assault rifles is a start. Good write John.
