I am looking for a rainbow..

I am looking for a rainbow..

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Just some mini-poetry.

"
I am looking for a rainbow.
1- Like a silhouette, she stood alone.
Her eyes adored the sea and she tried to hold the moon.
She tried to collect collect the stars and
she told the night.
I needed the ocean tonight,
I needed the song of the sea.
I need the quiet of the night to heal my soul, my heart.
The rigor of life had left my bones sore and my eyes blinded,
to the sweetness of life.
Please tell my distance love.
I do miss him.
2- She gestured to the lone soldier with her kind eyes and her gentle smile.
She went to him and she reached out her hands to him.
She lifted him up slowly and she embraced him.
She told him. Dear Johnnie,
you are not alone no-more.

....in my mind I can see a girl walking along the beach with a basket, arms high, collecting stars & the moon, listening to the sound of the ocean waves. i can smell the ocean.

I loved the beautiful poetry in your words, dear Coyote.
