Love never loved me..

Love never loved me..

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Just good song and some words.

"
Love never loved me..
The tavern poet of Austin, Texas always sat alone and he wrote sleeping man poetry. The pretty Austin girls would sit with him. Request a poem. He told pretty Sally. Love never loved me. Love left me holding on to broken promises and liar eyes. Pretty Sally would demand a dance and she would demand a smile. She would whisper sweet words to him in the midnight Texas hours.
'"Johnnie, Johnnie.
Love is dark and love become more darker.
Love will teach us to bleed and love will teach us.
We, who adore and seek love,
we shall learn.
Love is cold and
love will leave us lonely.
Darling, honey, sweetheart.
We are damned to fall in love with the people,
who will just steal and borrow.
We are damn to know loneliness."
He told her. Beautiful Sally, I do appreciate your kindness.
We dance in Austin every Friday and Saturday.
You find me and I am thankful.
Your kisses and kind words make Johnnie believe.
We can be kind to another.
I sleep in your warm bed and you treat me so sweetly and kindly.
I could love you.
She smiled and she laughed.
She told him. You and I.
Last survivors on a sinking ship.
I adore my Michigan Soldier,
you are always kind to me and
you accept my scars.
I do love you Johnnie.
You hold me, like a new lover.
You make me feel like the free bird in my dreams.
Knowing freedom and feeling safe.
He kissed her hard and he told her.
Dear Sally, I do love you.
It is a wise love my dear lover.
We know how love can taste and we don't want to taste bitter no-more.
Please dear Sally, don't forget me. I will remember you.
She brought him closer and she whispered.
Love never loved me, till you.
Tonight we shall drive to the Texas sea.
You and me will dance for the rising sun.
We won't make promises,
we will imprint to the sea.
We will try to seek today, maybe tomorrow.
You and I.
Just free birds dancing on the wind.
