Naked ladies and the roses.

Naked ladies and the roses.

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Some mini-poetry for Big Sur and Port Austin...

"
Naked ladies and the roses..
1- When I hold you tightly and we dance near the Big Sur sea.
The sun kissed our faces and we enthralled in the miracle of love kindness.
I whispered to you. Darling, honey, sweetheart.
Thank you for the dance and I love you so.
2- I told her. Scars, lies and sour wine. We shall know, we can drown in.
Please come with me to the Lake Huron on a Summer day.
At Port Austin, we will sit on the end of the long pier.
Pray for hope and better days.
3- He sat with the sad girl and he told her, on the Port Austin pier.
Jigsaw puzzles, we will become.
The remainder pieces seeking to be part of someone.
We must pray for peace and tell the night. Give me more.
4- She was a Michigan beauty with eyes of coffee brown.
She would dance for me in the early morning nude with the windows wide open.
She would tell me, our roses are blooming this morning.
Please come to my garden dear Johnnie. You have become part of my garden.

It's hard to think of peace and tranquility these days. With so many darkness going on around us, it's hard to see the light.
Sometimes I enjoy going out on a dark clear night and look up at the stars. I point at certain ones and call them by their names. This gives me peace. The dark skies are getting lighter now with the city moving farther and farther out. Soon the stars will be gone.
A wonderful write. It made me think of better times.

I can think of a lot worse situations than being in such a garden. Having a nude woman dance for you in the early morning sounds like the perfect way to start the day. Even beats that first cup of Starbucks House Blend.

A lovely tale John, but what got me was the jigsaw puzzle, which may portend death, as we become little pieces... but until then let's sit on the pier and make love....and of course dance....and "pray for hope and better days"... your poetry is so smooth and romantic, but always with a tinge of sadness...
Thanks for sharing John.
Best, B

I've especially loved the tidbit with the jigsaw puzzles.

Never thought of using that in a piece like this, but it works all the same.

You had some very breathtaking moments and people in your life. So many beautiful roses. Each flower was so special and brought you its own signature of joy. Beautifully penned, dear Coyote.
