I am angry

I am angry

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Our children are being murdered.

"
gen.

Ethan Chapin, 20, Madison Mogen, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Kaylee Goncalves, 21.

Junior receiver Lavel Davis Jr. of Dorchester, South Carolina; junior receiver Devin Chandler of Huntersville, North Carolina; and junior defensive end/linebacker D'Sean Perry of Miami.

I an angry.

How many of our children need to be murdered? The name above. They are the wealth of a nation. The Native Americans believe. The children are the future. I have cried tears for the children, I did not know.

I am angry. I don't understand why anyone could kill young and strong kids. The men who killed the student. Do not say their names. The man who killed four beautiful young people, he wants attention. Please, don't give attention to them.

We must remember. Remember the men and women, lost too soon. I have cried alone for them. I have four children and five grandchildren. I still take my nine year old to the bus stop, everyday. We need security guards in our schools. USA had fallen.

The pro-gun men and women want more guns. Maybe we need to change our way of thoughts in the USA. Someone wanted our teachers to carry guns. This is so sad. Teachers teach, teachers open the minds of our children.

I say the name of the people murdered by guns and anger. I ask God. Why? I apology for not writing. I am burning sage for the people killed in my USA.

I pray to the sun. I pray to the moon and the stars. Please accept the children with open arms.

I have just seen that story about the eight people in Utah killed by their own Father with their own 'protective' guns. I think something has gone drastically wrong in your country John with its love of guns and the misinterpretation of an old ammendment that simply does no longer apply.
I hope I can say that John not being American.
Hand guns and semi automatic guns are only held for one reason. To kill people with. Perhaps if the laws were made more rigourous to stop people owning these guns then ersartz protection such as this would not be needed. But I am not holding my breath.
The reason perhaps there are so many guns and I know I am being niave in saying change your law. The reason is/has become political not ethical. And that is wrong.
I totally agree with you. I would say happy new year dear friend but it just does not seem right. And that is no matter where you live today.

to pray or declare god is the answer is the same as throwing babies to the lions

this god, the christian god is the same god in name and deed as that which allowed human beings to be captured and enslaved, forced into labor, whipped, beaten, raped and murdered all the while the fat fuks sat around their dinner table praising the god that carries the responsibilities of so many wrongful deeds

if one is to sing praise then there is responsibility to lay same to the bad, the horrific, the unfathomable misdeeds of that appear to not matter so goddamn high!
just as all the gods, there is common failure that is easily discarded by their faithful

you have the right to believe and worship as you please but not a right to purge others in the name of your lord and master
go ahead stay on your knees where you belong and the rest of us will stand tall having independent thought

may as well say HAPPY JAN 6!

i yield my time ...

It's sad, but humans have a tendency to be evil.

Naturally, the media shouldn't be obsessed with the killers and the like.
But it's a rotten world, with plenty of rotten folks.

Johnnie,
The only way I know to help people change is to let them see and feel the reality of their actions; death is not game but a finality. No one gets back up to play again. My own brother, a Colonel in the Unites States Army, a chaplain, recently died, and he always told me, "There is nothing good about death." Death is not patriotism, not revenge, not just, not merciful, not brave, not cowardly--it is the end.
The self, the us, is like an application on a computer; when the computer is unplugged, the application is worthless.

I weep for our nation of fools who still cling to their belief in magic and magicians.

We have a culture that glorifies guns, bloodshed and violence. We have video games with graphic scenes of bloodshed and television shows whose only selling point is gun violence and sex, inextricably linking the two in the viewers mind. And American children are being raised on these crime shows and bloodthirsty games. What this has given us is an entire generation desensitized to human suffering through gore and sewage filth to feed the human heart and soul. We have always had guns. But in other generations gun violence was a rare occurrence and generally contained to one on one confrontations between people who had some sort of argument. Guns aren't the problem. Cain killed his brother with a stone. Sin is the problem. Wickedness, evil and bloodshed being accepted as a norm in society is the problem. But we have a society that proclaims that there is no "right or wrong"; a society that tells us to accept every evil or blame an inanimate object for the cancerous disease of sin that infects its soul. But as Henry David Thoreau once remarked, "There are a thousand hacking at the branches of evil for every "one" that is chopping at the root." The root of the problem is sin. The cure for sin is God. It begins at home in families with moms and dads drawing a hard line to protect their children. Turn off those violent TV shows, read a book, spend time in reading scripture, make something, create something, share some time, some love, some understanding. There are so many worthy and worthwhile endeavors we can contribute ourselves to, and, by doing so, shape a better and brighter future for us all. But until we recognize that sin is the disease and violence, merely, a symptom, don't look for anything to get any better. The morality of America has gone to hell with the devil and until we start to make a move back towards God, strong morals and family values we will continue to decline into chaos.

I totally agree...do not give them their fifteen minutes of notoriety...that is what they long for, that is what they seek. And it is so tragic that innocents are murdered in order for these fifteen minutes to happen.
