I am thankful and Merry Christmas...A Poem by Coyote PoetryThank you my Writercafe friends for being my friend.I am thankful and Merry Christmas.. I saw my face in the mirror at Chucky’s Cheese. I was sixty-four years old. I stopped and did a silence prayer to the Spirit of life and death. My eyes have eroded with time. Can’t see nothing without my glasses. My baby girl is twenty-six now. She gives me the boredom look. I do a silence prayer. I walked behind my two grandsons. Their eyes wide open to the world around them. I sat and watched my grand-daughter Mia plays in the small kids section. Their children will pay for our waste and sins too. Baby Mia is climbing on me. I pray a silence prayer for the day. I’m thankful for this day. Coyote © 2022 Coyote PoetryAuthor's Note
