I am dreaming of Scotland..

I am dreaming of Scotland..

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Love be sweet, love be damns.

"
I am dreaming of Scotland..

Once a Scottish gal loved me so.
I found her in a dancehall on a cold Germany night.
Her auburn hair and demanding brown eyes stole my heart.
I twisted my world backward to be with her.

She knew I was a wild one and she told me.
Please don't brake my heart.

Tonight I am listening to a Scottish beauty song and
I am dreaming the prettiest gal I ever seen.

I did brake her heart and the sweet Scottish gal told me.
I forgave you, please find a reason to be alive. I loved your Johnnie once.
I don't love you no-more.

Now I am a old man.
I am dreaming of Scotland.
I remember the prettiest gal I ever seen.

Her last words, broke my heart.
She told me. Dear Johnnie.
Men who want everything,
will never find happiness.
Please dear Johnnie.
Seek something you truly love.

Now I dream of Scotland.
And I know.
I had a kind love and I lost her.

Those days, those moments will never return but we can console ourselves with those memories ad perhaps forgive ourselves for being how we were. I relate to your words very much dear Coyote, I've broken a few hearts too. It wasn't intentional and it was just me going with my flow. In turn, my heart was broken by others too. Life is just like that. Your Scottish gal was a true beauty.

Interesting coincidence, Johnny, I was revising last night my own poem about Scotland - must be something about cold weather that brings the whiskey thoughts out.

You're Welcome, Coyote!
If we live long enough we all break a few hearts one way or the other. This poem carries with it a feeling of melancholy and wistful memories of the past. Very nice Johnnie.

O Scotland is a beautiful place and I love the scottish accent. I would like to voisit that place.

We must forgive ourselves to done such mistakes. I have too broke one heart in the past but I never meant that and for return I broke my own heart too. For now I have collect the pieces and ask forgiveness and know what? He truly loved me so much that there was no really nothing to forgive! Love is all about the feeling and sharing the life, moments and your thoughts. If we continue our lives, there's nothing wrong in that. If we do our best in every situations then we can say 'thank you for all and good wishes to you'.

Thank you for sharing it, John.

"Men who want everything/will never find happiness." Heavy words, C. Too bad Napoleon couldn't have heard you. But then, he probably wouldn't have listened, anyway.

Dear John… Scotland is so Romantic and I am touched by your loss. The mountains and the Valley’s peaceful Music 🎶 can capture your 💜 Heart. By the way I noticed you reviewed my Poem “Winter Birds”; however I never found the Review.. it must have disappeared. I would love to read it sometime… if possible. Our weather can be sunny and warm and the next day dreary and cold… Winter is settling all around. Stay Warm and Dream your poetry as always… Pat

they just don't come any more heart-felt and real than this one Johnnie C a truly remarkable series of distant recollection that have stayed with you and are wholly understandable under the circumstances incorporated into another fine poem from your extensive portfolio of fine poems ........
