Some mini-poetry. We are, what we became.A Poem by Coyote PoetryAugust new poetry number thirty...We are, what we became... 1- They tried to shame her, they could not. She saw in their dirty eyes, whiskey, sin and sadness. She knew what she wanted, and she took it. With her devilish smile, she told me often. You are dirty with sin, and you do not care. I like this my dear friend, we have nothing to hide now. 2- She loved the mystery and secrets in my face, in my eyes. She was a painter of the sea; she was a painter of faces with a million journeys. She would touch my face and she would tell me. I see everything Johnnie, you had done. You are filled with gin, hate and anger. You are real and I love this. I don't like softness in people, crying people make me sick. I have eaten dirt and I have learned to enjoy the taste. You have eaten dirt too and you have lived in the s**t of life. You have learned to eat the s**t and still seek to live and laugh. We are soulmates seeking the sea and the calmness of the whiskey thoughts. Coyote
