Love is blue...A Poem by Coyote PoetryJuly poetry number twenty...Blue is love.. 1- You are. As pretty as a perfect painting and I adore your sacred shores. The moon is above us, lighting the night and my feet are touching the Summer warm water. I told the Goddess of the sea. Thank you for befriended me and allowing me to join you in the nightly dances. I love you my dear Pacific. 2- My wild North Dakota gal dancing barefoot with the sea. Her long brown hair flowing in the breeze and her hands reaching for the moon and the stars. I go to her and I joined her in a waltz and I kiss her sweet lips. Tasting sweet red wine and I tell her. Thank you for the dance my beautiful mermaid. Will we suicide board the Winter storm tonight? She smiled and she told me. We brought our wet suit and some Irish whiskey for after. The sea is calling our names and she wants to embrace us. Maybe tell us a secret story to be written by the Monterey dark poet? Of course Johnnie. We put on the wet suits and take our suicide boards to the sea. It takes twenty minute of fighting the waves and we find a place to dance with the sea. I have her tied to me with a 12 foot rope and I loved watching her face. Closed eyes, rolling and rolling around in the hands of the sea. I knew, this is where she was most happy. The coldness of the Pacific make us return to the shore and she is laughing. I went and I got the whiskey. We drank the bottle down and I told her. Us foolish people made the Goddess of the sea smile. She brought me close and she whispered. Us, who love the sea. We need each other. Coyote
