July poetry number fourteen.

I still miss you...
1- Dear Bridgette, you saved me once on a September day.
Your soft voice and gentle heart calmed the rage of a man, drowning in rage.
You held my hands and you told me. Johnnie, you will be okay and I will keep you safe.
Your gift of warm embraces and soft kisses made the angry man, seek some kind of peace.
You would hold be close in the night and you would tell me.
You are not walking alone.
I am walking with you.
2- He languished in things left behind.
He learn to love the whiskey and the song of the sea.
He befriended the books and he became the midnight writer.
Once he adored love and love didn't adore him.
Now he left the sea and he drinks the whiskey alone.
Once he sought voices and now he seeks silence of the Great lakes.
The Michigan poet isn't seeking love.
He wants to help his messy world and maybe?
Leave a better world, when he is done.
