Some gave all...
I served with great men and great women. Each, I befriended. We train together, we fought together. We didn't see color, race or religion. We were brothers and sisters.
Today the old soldier cried alone. He drinks alone and he remember good friends. Who stood with him in the good days, the bad days.
He goes early to Soldiers activities yearly and he stand with the veterans of so many wars. They stand in silence. A deep understanding. Some gave all and freedom isn't free.

Yes, absolutely .. so many have made and are yet still to make the ultimate sacrifice .. Sadly and all too often blindly and misguidedly I fear upon the back of the greed & seemingly insatiable hunger of power crazed dictators, madmen, bullies and despots ..................... a truly heart-wrenching post Coyote and much respect to you & each of your fallen comrades ..................... Thank you Neville. It is sad. Young men and young women must learn war before love.

Freedom certainly isn't free. A heavy and high price is paid for it. Huge sacrifices are made. I have the ultimate respect for those who serve and who have served, but the war cemeteries make me question decisions made by politicians and the top brass in the military. History just keeps repeating itself and lessons are not learned. So many gave their all, and many still remember the horrors of what they have seen and where they gave been. Thank you dear Coyote.

Freedom can cost all. Yet, somehow we can afford it. Thanks for standing tall in silence.

Thank you Williams. We must ensure we don't allow the government to steal our freedom.
There is a deep bond between men and women who serve in the armed forces. You have expressed that so well here. Thank you for your service, John. Lydi**

Thank you dear Lydia. Soldiers, just men and women standing as one for freedom.
Well written and deeply heartfelt. Thank you for telling us your story. Our servicemen and women are so important in our futures and a respect and appreciation for the world we live in today.
Although I'm in Australia, I thank you for your service.
LEST WE FORGET!
Thank you my friend, take care.
