Delicate and boundless...

Delicate and boundless...

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

April poetry number thirteen...

"
                            Delicate and boundless
Marianne found me drinking alone by the Texas river. I was drinking the Black Velvet whiskey at noon and writing old-man poetry. She took my journal and she read my words. She looked sad and she told me. Johnnie, yesterday is gone. Today is important. We must celebrate the new day. Please read me a beautiful and hopeful poem. I will pay with kisses, if I like.
I wrote to the Journal..
"You are delicate and boundless. You made me believe life is alright and you make me smile. I want to fall in love with you and I want us to become Gypsies without walls.
Marianne, Marianne, my lovely Texas girl. Let runaway to the sea. Let's swim in the ocean and drink the tequila with lemons, till the midnight hour. My darling, my sweetie, my kind love. Let's create a place, where we can win.
I love your magnificent hazel eyes. I want to fall in them forever. You are my silk and lace dreams. You make me believe love is sweet, love can be forever. Please stay with me and let's dance with sea and laugh at life disappointments."
I  handed the poetry to her. She read the words and she kissed me once, she kissed me twice. She told me. Today, you and I are off to the Texas sea. Less drinking, more dancing. I loved the poetry and maybe. You and I can create a epic tale where love can win.
I told her. I am ready dear Marianne and thank you for your kindness. I needed someone to teach me. Life is now, the sea is near and you are my Texas blessing.

A lovely meeting of the minds and the souls… she read your poetry and then had a passion for you…and you for her…drinking alone is no fun….so Marianne lifted your spirits, and from there, a relationship began by the Texas River” read me a beautiful poem and I will pay you with kisses” , love this line….

Coyote this was nice, it reverberated with wonderful feelings that are not attached to any one line. It carried such a peaceful and gentle feel. Loved it.

hi coyote,
reminds me of the quote 'behind every great man is a woman'.
johnnie needs Marianne to get his life back on track.
(if he stopped drinking he could've done it himself me thinks, but then there wouldn't be your poem!!)

your love writings always speak to that desire for that "something wonderful, magic and beautiful" ... whether it is for the moment or forever .. it's the magic your poems speak to, in my opinion, of course .. she is beautiful and mysterious .. this Marianne of yours, Johnny. Makes me wish she were mine ;) wonderful music as well .. never heard Mr. Cash sing that one. thanks for sharing sir!
