The w***e bath

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"Sometime we must listen, think and make wise decisions. More liars than kind people running our world."

The w***e bath….

Large shining teeth, an large man with loud voice. Telling me the way to heaven holding whiskey in one hand and the bible in the other. I will find my way to paradise by the gift to his Christian cause.  His teeth seem to shine brighter and smile larger. His mumbling of a thousand words. Leave me feeling dirty and I get a damp cloth and wipe away the words of a greedy man.

The captain tells me.” I own you. You do what I say. Even  to death. I’m in-charge.” I try to wander away. But he keeps speaking. I feel dirty and go to the latrine. I get a damp cloth.
Another w***e bath in a life where the words are eating away at my soul.

I sit in a classroom. The instructor asked me? If I was ordered to kill. Would I? I tell him I would kill him first. But my words become weaker with each second the instructor speaks. He shower me with his blood song and I began to understand. The sweat pours down my face and I go to the bathroom. One more w***e bath for a man drowning in useless words. Forced to accept for a few pennies. Beliefs only a mercenary could believe.

Maybe if I was a high paid w***e. I could live with the things I must do. But nothing as bad as a cheap w***e.

There are people in life who try to indoctrinate us. False preachers, politicians, all trying to blindside us with their beliefs. Listen to your heart, your heart will tell you which direction to take. Be true to yourself. There are so many false people around. You will know them when you come across them. Strong write Coyote.

I too have met those with sharp teeth and sharper words, been forced to take that "w***e bath". Some people with authority speak from what they know others from their own darkness. It's unfortunate that only years of experience can help tell the difference.

This was a good write and good read.

Thank you for reading and the comment. All of us had been drowned in the blood song. Hard to forget.
A few “ dirty words” can change a life, if you believe them. People say things they don’t even mean… they are tricksters trying to convince you of what they believe. A cheap w***e is truly a sad phenomenon……a life in which no one should dwell.
Strong sitter John, thanks for sharing.

One of the most "out-there" & imaginative ways I've seen you make a powerful point in your writing. This is WAY outside the predictable dots & I hope you'll spend lots of time there! (((HUGS)))

Thank you dear Margie. Old words and I appreciate the comment my friend.
Hypocrites abound in every corner of society. However, it is also wise to remember that, to a degree, hypocrisy is part of our nature. We all tend to say one thing, and do something else without thinking about it. Rather than look at what others are doing, I look to myself to make sure I am not guilty of this. What others say and do cannot touch me. But what I say and do can touch others. Thank you for reminding me of this with your words.

A very profound piece which requires re-reading. With the radicals we have amongst us, it serves to think before taking any action. Unfortunately, there are those who choose to cling to a religious edict and do not worry about the consequences!

this intense write made me cringe at what the subject was subjected to.

Hello Jacob. Stalking tiger can be dangerous.
The words you start with are so true: More liars than kind people running our world. Greed, corruption and narcissism are what helps destroy all that could be good in this world. Words can be powerful but dangerous and phony as well. Great poem here, Coyote.

Thank you my friend. Hard to find a honest man or woman in Washington D.C.
Throughout life, we encounter authority figures who try, one way or another, to browbeat us into submission to their demands. Whether preachers or drill instructors, they try to force their dogmas down our throats. Sometimes we can't immediately get away from them, so the best course is to let these bags of wind blow themselves out. They may be able to make us listen, but they can't make us believe.
