Catch the wind

Catch the wind

                               Catch the wind
Please kind lady, please lay with me.
Allow the night to cover us with the warmth of love embrace.
We were strangers till we learned.
We had the same dreams, we were alone and we were scared.
Now we have coffee, books and time with the sea.
I want to teach you to be wild and brave again.
When you are near. I am brave.
Please let's find the Big Sur and fall into her wildness and her beauty.
Allow the dangerous Pacific to teach us.
We are not done yet and we have great things to do still.
I want us to try to catch the wind.
I want us to waltz for the midnight moon,
show the goddess of the sea.
Wild hearts can live in the messy world.
Please lay with me till the sun appeared in the dawn.
Let's dance and sing with the sea for the rising sun.
I will promise you today and more if you want.
We can create a canvas of two people who were fearless.
Allowed love to be painted bright and beautiful.
I love you my kind lady. Please promise me today.

The Big Sur, her wildness and beauty sound captivating. There is freedom in the wind. Can you ever catch the wind? I like the thoughts you share here Coyote, of two people alone and scared trying to live again. Trying their best to help each other recapture something lost.

I really enjoyed this write, wild hearts can live in a messy world,
I love those words, tis' is a messy world that is for sure,
it's hard to trust anyone anymore or give kindness to one, without them questioning it.
I really enjoyed this write.

Thank you dear Katzie. I agree and we must trust someone.
Your poem does feel like catching the wind. The wild parts of us calling to be captured and to capture a great love in turn. I love the feeling of freedom and love without boundaries you have conjured. The sense that love and desire for happiness are timeless and attainable. It is such a lovely idea to ponder.

We need our freedom my friend and thank you for reading and the comment.
To me, it’s so wonderful when two strangers (perhaps from the past) meet under these circumstances that you so vividly paint… the relationship evolves into a twine of love, teaching each other to be brave and strong, so that the journeys forthwith will be a dream come true… at the magnificent Big Sur and all along the spectacular coast as you describe.
Fine writing dear poet.
Best
B.

You’re very welcome, poet friend
I can attest to the beauty of Big Sur coastline. Driving along its coast with all that endless blue leaves one Enchanted by wonderment and how insignificant we are before the face of Nature's beauty. To be able to share that with someone you love makes the gift even that much more precious. Wonderful poem CP, it takes me back to the times I would drive out along the pacific coast highway.

Highway one. Magically and thank you Carlos for reading and the comment.
I love the way you use the images of the sea to illustrate the longing of wild hearts, and the yearning to keep going. Age does not diminish the call of freedom and the longing for adventure. This is a nice of expression of these truths!

Always good to paint life' s canvas
with bright colors of nature and love
wild hearts can live in a messy world
and can keep dancing for that midnight
moon..yes it's all possible as life and love
continue to make ones heart beat glad

Nice Work here John
