The first day of Spring poems

The first day of Spring poems

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Some mini-poems.

"

We went to the sea and I wrote your name and I love you into the sand.
You smiled and you kissed me once, you kissed me twice.
You wrote in the sand, I love you more...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Spring, you are near.
Kind Spring, the cold days, are almost gone.
I am waiting for the first sun kiss of the season.
I need to feel warm again.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
I want to fall in love again.
I want a kind woman who love to sing and dance for the midnight stars.
Please dear moon, send me a kind woman.
One who loved the whiskey and she can make me laugh again.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Darkness had stole my heart and my mind.
The anger is overtaking my sanity.
Should I stay or go?
Am I the devil? Maybe I am showing my real face?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I want to get drunk on kisses.
I want to find solitude and a place to rest.
I need a Gypsy gal who want the sea, the quiet forest.
I want a kind woman with the sweetest voice to tell me.
We will be alright dear Johnnie. I will keep you warm and safe.

Coyote, your poetic words and songs of love are so enchanting....like waves breaking on the shore gently and roughly, but always perfectly. Your lines come to life as though they are on a panoramic movie screen. Your women are unforgettable and in them you reveal your passionate and loving self. Each verse here could stand alone. Tender, deeply moving, perfect.

Excellent poems. That are far more than mere words. Very well written, and your flow is great.
I really like the poems about your longing/hopes for a good woman....Don't worry, she will come.

I am doing well dear Sharonlee and I hope you are doing well. Thank you for reading and the comment.
It has been a long bloody cold winter, the roll call of death in Britain is finally coming under control.
The sun is beginning to show itself, and that usually means the removal of one jumper. Though you do need permission off the girl when removing said jumper. Feeling optimistic this year, looking forward to a beer and company and life getting back to normal.

dearest John... the warmth of your poetry will
wake the Earth to Spring forth in glorious bursts
of beauty and the need for love letters in the Sands

dear John;
I was going to do a Spring thing but didn't get around to it
Glad you did, easily resulting in a much better effort
Speaking of women, Did you see the cowboy headstone epitaph?
ie;
"A man needs a woman to take care of his home"
He needs a woman to love through the night
He needs a woman in which to confide all his fears
he needs a woman to share all his dreams
But it is critical these four women never meet or you could end up just as dead as I am.
(At least something like that, which is what your poem reminded me of)

I liked the headstone epitaph. Hello Dave from Michigan and thank you for reading and the comment.
We all long for kindness and that magical feel of love that can keep us warm during any season.

I do not like winter and long for the warmth of the sun the whole season
