Coyote, your poetry always sings songs of love and passion so sweetly. Once read, always remembered. The photo and imagery of lovers dancing on the beach are simply amazing. "We come back to the ocean after each journey.
The ocean keeps our secrets." How iconic and incredibly evocative are these lines. Your words wash the mind with music and salty sea spray. Brilliant, always.

Thank you my kind friend. I appreciate the kind words and the comment.
You speak a lot about being alive, freedom, peace; the ocean seems to soothe; and at the same time gives you music by which to dance and celebrate your lives together. You both like to journey, yet return to that same familiar place of peace. Well done! Vivid images!

Thank you dear Betty. We need places where we can know peace.
Excellent poetry Coyote. Very romantic and fulfilling to lovers of all genre. You keep the passion alive and well even in your memory. I think you are a world traveler and lover.
What a beautiful twist of metaphor you crafted and I had to pour through it. I've written a few love poems myself and this one is heart tugging. I can't help but note that if her name was macarena the poem would read a little bit differently.

So beautiful! You paint the town (beach) red with love, passionate love. Like the line'i held her like last breath'. Two romantic soul in the beach... Can't be more poetic than this.

I appreciate the kind words my friend. I hope you are doing well, being safe.
As always, your poem expresses a ton of feeling & affection thru vivid imagery. Great depiction of dancing -- my favorite line about dancing ever: " I tossed her into a twirl and I brought her back to me." Congrats for getting this into a literary journal! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
