Like a river- Some quotes

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Just words.

"
My grandfather told me. What we didn't do. Haunt our life and dreams........

A happy life is making time for morning coffee talk, long walks on a quiet beach, dancing with someone you love often and knowing a lot of laughter.......
We learn great wisdom, when we learn. Life is more than us.......
Violence actions leave residual of things done wrong. Never forgotten.......
Men, who eat and eat. Take and take, consume and consume. And want more. What do they truly need?.....

Please teach the children well. They are the future of our world and the children are watching us. Will we leave the leftovers like our fathers left us anger, war and separation.....

How much can a country bleed till it can't bleed no-more? Who is wrong, who is right? When both sides raises their fists. Both sides had sin against human life. No-one shall win.......
Once Salinger built a grave of dead soldiers to cover him and another soldier. They survived the night. What did he learn? We teach our children to fight, to kill and we wonder. Who screw-up our children?.......
Thank you
Dancing Coyote

Balance is a mighty thing and we need it. But when it comes to violence and ambush attacks on law enforcement we must draw a hardline. We live in the land of liberty lets preserve this liberty. those wanting to strip away safety and security shouldn't get to hide behind the right to assembly, as they set fires. I believe in love and kindness i offer help to those in need. I believe in God's love. But I have those who depend on me. I would and will protect and give aid to my neighbors. When the hand of love and friendship is defiled and violence comes, I will protect those I love with vigor.

Of course only we, who called ourselves human being has this opportunity to correct our misdeed. Every wrong take us a step backwards from the civilization. So what we should teach our children is the lesson we didn't learn when we had time.... Otherwise time will haunt us..... Very true to today's scenario

This really makes you stop and take stock of our lives. It is such a scary time politically. I hope that we will continue to evolve and leave an empowered and tolerant future for our children. Thank you for writing such a thought provoking piece!

Thank you dear friend. All of us must seek peace, teach hope and befriend each other.
Wonderfully spoken John. We are the ones who can screw up our kids and the ones who can be a model of what should be done. We must choose wisely.
War is at times a necessary evil. Out of it comes Salinger's "Catcher in the Rye" and Vonnegut's "Slaughterhouse-Five" as well as many fine poets who deal with that terrible turmoil that runs incessantly through the mind. One of those fine poets is a man named Coyote Poetry.
Always enjoy your stories John.

Take care be safe.

Thank you my dear friend. I worry for my world.
Society has gone crazy. Power and greed rule. If ever there was a time to come together it was during this pandemic and we can’t even seem to do that. Where are we headed?
I love your beginning lines. Profound writing, Coyote..

violence will never be the answer so as to emanate power and what is the use of power when we see ourselves suffering from this plague.. this is indeed a timely work wherein it can be a guide and a wake up call at the same time that we should heal as one
