Nature

Nature

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Some words for kind nature.

"
Nature
Someday I will sit by Lake Huron, with my pen and paper. I will write the epic tale of the blessed water, vast forest and the free animals.
Here in Michigan, four great lakes touches her. I love Upper Michigan, few people, slower pace and the great forest surrounding you. The forest is never-ending and a safe haven for the free animals.
The sky, the forest and the water. Blessings for us who can see, nature is kind to us. She supply our air, our water and our food for us to live.
We must teach our children well. To be kind to nature, appreciate the deep forest and leave room for the free animals to roam. I teach my grandchildren to love the lakes, be kind to the free animals and don't pollute our world.

This is our world and we must be kind to her.

Huron lake was great inspiration for J . F . Cooper and his stories of bravery and dignity. Myself I still don't visit that place even i am living more closer to Huron lake then you. I like how you unravel true meaning of nature and how we should learn importance to save every animal and tree or flower. Profit taking slowly everything over. We can for example see it at Standing rock and other places. I am living at green mountain state where hopefully we don't lost our beautiful green color from our mountains. Very beautiful poem.

it is a sad fact, we don't know nature anymore and the worst of it we don't care.
most of us wouldn't survive one night out there, though it is possible that one day humans will have to live once again in the forests.
i congratulate you taking care of this within your family, great example, we all should at least do that if not more.
going to mars and/or spending huge amounts of money to find meaningful life somewhere in space...ridiculous waste!

let's get together and find it here on earth, we only have about two billion years left

You do a great job of expressing many of the same things I love about being here in my wilderness. I love the physical descriptions of your area. But most, I love this as an example to people who forget all the things we have to be thankful about (in our season of many grievances). I came within 50 feet of having to evacuate (fire) & now I'm so relieved, it feels like each joy, each bit of abundance has become that much more grand to me! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

There's still a fire burning in Big Sur . . . I posted something about it this morning. I'll send yo.. read more
Not just words! I really need to wander your country. And I will, one day. So often i read descriptions and feelings gathered about certain favourite places, states, countryside.. experiences and tales. Yours about your lakes are so gently put as if you feel almost blessed by their water Of course we must respect and care for our lands, wherever they are. Teach children to care for selves and future.. Walk alone, walk with others and point out anything, everything that's precious. Life...

We must teach our children to be kind to nature and thank you dear Emma for reading and the comment.
A pleasing description of the upper peninsula of Michigan here. The speaker is obviously in love with the place, with its many contrasts to cities and their problems. The poem has a strong environmental message, also, because such areas are often endangered by development.

Coyote, I love this. You speak wise words. We need to teach the young ones to value their environment and to reap its benefits without destroying it. To instill a love for nature in children and an appreciation for all it offers.

So many take her for granted. I teach my kids the same. I wish more people would do the same.
I like what you are saying here, Coyote.
