Riders on the stormA Poem by Coyote PoetrySome words. Riders on the storm "Bad dream again, anger blasting my thoughts, Mad men killing and I don't understand. 15 year girl, Leila Hernandez, covered and protected her brother body and she was killed, A mother, Jordan Anchondo, covered and protected her child. She was killed, A Marine, 20 years old, Anne Vassas, took her own life. I am fighting in the chaos of my dreams. Why is my world falling into madness? All I can do is pray, pray and pray some more. In my dreams, Endless anger and great sadness for people, stole from us, by hate." "Bewildered mind, can tell the truth from a lie anymore. I am a rider on a storm, a storm awakening me to the understanding. Bigger storms are coming, the great liars in Washington, fantasy story tellers, telling me, we are going to be alright. We are not going to be alright, unless, we gather as one, All races, women and men, all religion and the four corners of our world. Stand together for the words of love, peace, forgiveness and no more hate. Today people being slaughters in our world. How many of us care for them? I am riding on the great storm, all of us are. We must decide. Open our eyes and stand for love. ONE PEOPLE, ONE EARTH, EVERY LIFE MATTER. EVERY CHILD IS A LIGHT OF LIFE, PLEASE SEEK PEACE, PLEASE NO MORE HATE. LOVE AND FORGIVENESS, THE WAYS TO A SAFE PLACE FOR THE CHILDREN. Dancing Coyote © 2019 Coyote PoetryAuthor's Note
