Vaya con dios

Vaya con dios

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Just words.

"
                             Vaya con dios
Song, sin and gin.
not enough to forget you.
We said goodbye and I learn, I was alone.
--------------------------------------------------------

I have pretty pictures,
warm memories and
I don't have you.
----------------------------------------------------------
Vaya con dios,
maybe tomorrow,
maybe never.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Your face, your hands,
your words, your kindness.
To hear your voice,
one more time.
Just wishes lost in the storm of life.

Thank you Mandy for reading and the comment. I do appreciate.
Wonderfully melancholy in its story as the protagonist attempts unsuccessfully to drown out his sorrow and loss. Nicely put Coyote.

Thank you Ryanna. I have 10 journals of writing. I have not published. Some words tell too much.
Wonderful piece my friend. The phrase vaya con dios is beautifully used and is the essence of the poem:)
