A memory, a story.

A memory, a story.

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Just words

"

A memory, a story.
-----------------------------------------------------------
                          Everything

In the stillness of the night,
you held me, so tightly.

You were my 2 am lover and my midnight dancer.
Your kiss was the sweetest breathe given to me.

You told me often.
You are my everything and you make me feel alive and needed.

I knew our love was just like the snow flakes floating into the Winter wind.
We were dreamers, wishing for a miracle.

Tonight I know silence and memory.
I whispered to the falling snow, outside my window.

You bewitched my heart dear love.
I know now. You were my everything.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
                      A memory

Lovely, perfect and wonderful.

Soft, tender and perfect.

Fearless, desperate and so sweet.

We stole kisses, we stole our kindness.

You, I.

Just a memory.

I really don't know how Your "just words' always flow with abundance, with energy... always, touching inside us our deep emotions, You were my 2 am lover and my midnight dancer... that line alone is charming, I specially love Your second poem, very poignant.

As always, some of your most loving words as a tribute to some lovely adventure along your life path. I especially like the first poem becuz of the snow imagery. It reminds me of how it can feel so cold when we’re only remembering, but not actually experiencing it anymore (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

You are right dear Poet. When love become wish and a dream. A sad memory to hold on to.

Beautiful! The contradiction between silence and the vividness of the memory is powerful. Lovely work!

ear John... It seems you held a flower soft and sweet...
a gift to always cherish as if a carriage wisked her off
when morning light carried her on a breeze into the trees...
Beautiful poetry upon a long nights dream. truly, Pat

Thank you Pat. When we are young. We don't know. Love is rare and sweet.
This was so beautiful, the scene unfolding felt almost as though I were there peeking in.
Beautiful and breathtakingly romantic.

I could almost hear your voice as I read this poem. You literally share your thoughts.
The reader experiences them as their own. Great writing.
