Just words.

               A Sunday prayer

Time for us, all of us to stop.

Give a few second of your busy day.

We need to stop and to pray.

Pray for our world.

Pray we learn.

Every child had value and

every life had value.

We need to close our eyes.

Pray every child and family had food, shelter and

war  become myth and tale..

Maybe if a billion people praying for calm and peace.

For the safety of every life.

Maybe our leaders could learn and understand.

War and violence isn’t the ways to peace.

Leading with concern, kindness and love is the ways of peace.

One people and one earth.

We must get along for the sake of every child in our world.

These are such true words, but I believe they are in vain... i hate saying that but as long as there is the technology that there is life is only going to get worse and the rapture will be soon... I grew up where we left the door unlocked, and curfew was when the street lights come on and no body thought of doing drive-by shootings or mass school shooting... (Sorry I am rambling)!!! I just believe the truth in your words but lack my faith in things... Nice write thank you for sharing

Lovely sentiments my friend. It does seem, though as if we are up against people with war in their blood.....I don’t think peace is a mere rational decision - it comes from within.....so we are not merely praying for people mind’s to change but their hearts too :). An ambitious prayer indeed.
