A poem for my story- poet's love

A Spring flower

Was a Spring flower.
So tall and so beautiful.

Was a Spring flower.
That reached for the sky.
The sky and the sun adored her.

She would dance with the wind.
The wind would whisper love songs to her.

Late Summer came and the flower slowly weaken and faded away.
The sky cries great rain/snow and the sun hid behind the clouds.

In early Spring.
The flower appeared again.

The rain and snow stopped.
The sun shined from morning dawn to nightly dust.

The gentle wind danced with the beautiful flower again.
The world became beautiful and wonderful once again.

Such a delightful poem, full of joy and the flame of hope that burns eternal in the human spirit. The poem is very endearing in its simplicity and beauty and will stay in my heart for a long time to come. I read it out aloud to my son and he was spellbound!

My fellow warrior poet I love this poem. The flow and the stanzas are great. I had to read it twice because it left me wanting to see the seasons again.

Well done.

So very very lovely, so very tender, loving like the sweetest gentlest dream... like the warmest breath, a true enchanting piece... and that a man who wrote it, makes it even more charming, sheer splendor! Thank You 🌼

Someday, I would try and write a poem about flowers as well. You have definitely inspired me to do so with your great writing.

The seasons and the cycle of life mixed as one in a poem with great feeling. Spell check 'dusk to dawn'.
