The night is young and the night is long, my love

The night is young and the night is long, my love

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

New words.

"

The night is young and the night is long, my love

I saw you perfect in the day and I saw you wild and sweet in the early morning.
You are my fire in my heart and the storm arising in my mind.
Your face, your eyes and your hair.
You make me know madness and great need my love.

Let's us dance tonight. Let's us dance till we cannot no-more.
You are my sweet elixir and sweet red wine I need to taste deep into the midnight hours.
I want to know the fragrant of your gentle perfume on your tender skin.
I want to have your red hair surrounding my face and shoulders.
I want to fall in love with you, again and again.

The night is young and the night is long, my love.
You and I must find mistress love and embrace her for the moon and the stars.
I want you to release your veil of mystery and show me your true face.
I need to hear you whisper.

Let's dance my sweet love.
Let's fall into the words of the song.
You are my sweet dove and I need you near always.
You make me want to live and dance in your eyes forever.

You and I know they're more than just words. We express our deepest love in the same way, with our heart on our sleeves. One would have to be blind to not see the love and its accompanying passion that exist between you are your beloved. You always write so majestically of your feelings- thank you.

Aloha John, slow burning embers of seduction. It's a wonderful dance! There is often an easy warmth about your writing that I enjoy. The image is quite captivating as well. Izzy

Thank you Izzy. I always love your kind words.
Exquisitely written, my friend. "You make me want to live and dance in your eyes forever," is the line that snagged me. Every woman should be blessed enough to have a man who loves her like this. I am grateful go God, I found mine 38 years ago, and while we do not have the relationship we once had, I cannot imagine living without his companionship. Very well done, my friend! Thanks for sharing!

as beautiful as a dance!
It reminded me of the "dance me to the end of love" (Cohen)!

I am going to be completely honest and say right out loud that I actually did one of those movie starlet "sighs" when I finished this. Literally, I think I might have swooned, even. Your words are so moving and the dance you choreographed simply breathtaking.

"I want you to release your veil of mystery and show me your true face." (This was the deep, heavenly movie starlet sigh line.)

Loved it. Thank you for sharing your gift. We are all better for it.

You are a man who has been shaped by love so much it has become part of his art.
Sensitive and full of feeling.

Beautiful words, triggered by a memory... or a longing for true love.

Very seductive and sweet all at the same time.
