insanamentelm I was condemn after I saw your face I was looking for the wide open road and some kind of freedom. She sat alone on a barren road on the back road of Texas and I saw her. I couldn’t look away from her long legs and beautiful face. She told me. “You are late Johnnie. Never keep a pretty lady waiting. I looked at her hazel green eyes and I knew I was condemn forever. I told her. I promise you the sea and some strong whiskey. My pretty lady. You make my world so damn beautiful. She smiled and she told me. “Sweet words and wonderful promises will make me forgive you Johnnie. John Castellenas/Coyote© 2017 Coyote PoetryAuthor's Note
