Peace will come

Peace will come

A Poem by Coyote Poetry

    Peace will come

My child, don't you cry. War is near and life is so hard.
Tomorrow may come and a new day where the sun shall shine upon a world where
men seek healing over death. Kindness over hate. concern over greed.
My children. Your Father's world is blood red with with hate and separation.
I pray to the sea, the great lakes and the land.
Please teach this world.
Every child is part of this world.
Every life had value.
Gun and bombs are not tools of peace.

My child, please forgive me. Like my father. I allowed the world to become bloody with hate.
A worthless life is allowing this world to fall to chaos. Today I sing to you.

Sweet peace, kind peace.
Where are you?
If we don't seek peaceful solution and we leave the child with nothing.
What have we done my friend?

This is a beautiful prayer, an empathetic song for all the war-torn countries that never seem to know peace. I can't help but picture the children being rescued in Aleppo when monsters continue to bomb hospitals & emergency services -- unfathomable. I also feel responsible for the war-torn world we are passing on to our children. We can only try to brighten up our little corners of the world & you do this very eloquently with your regular messages of peace (((HUGS)))

Thank you Bo. I appreciate the comment.
Often times man acts without considering the consequences of his actions and the impact it will have on generations unborn. A really sincere write, of encouragement and hope that one day, just one day, the world will be a better place.

I hope my friend. Time is getting short. We need to change directions before we can't.
There's always someone to stir up the pot,be it different beliefs to cause a war. I can see why it happens, there's too much inequality in the world, on who has what, who owns the most, who has the most comfortable living standards, and these days with today's technology the poor and desperate see this and become somewhat envious and a hatred is born towards those who have it all. When you consider they have nothing to lose, what is a war to these perpetrators. I shudder to think what will happen. Peace is hope, a dream in today's world but sadly may never happen. The haves want peace, the have nots are not happy. A nice piece to dwell on John.

Your welcome sir.
This was awesome. When we were younger we'd hear things from our elders like "the worlds gone to s**t..." But we never really took much notice of the true nature of that statement. And now, as adults , in this time of such conflict , where greed and destructive propaganda are the norm....our children will pay for the sins of their fathers. So your plea for peace is an all too true necessity in these troubling days and touched the heart of this reader.

Thank you Mr. Lopez. I pray daily for peace. A forgotten word.
Peace will come, but there will be blood in its birth, alas!

You are right Thomas. I hope not a nuclear weapon to teach men. Every life had value.
These are some strong words! The day will come when we have peace but its still a long way to go. Deep poetry.

You are welcome ☺
We can only raise our fists, or our voices. Either one, normally crushed. Still, we have to try.

I agree. We must try and pray.
I have to believe that Creator has got our backs. The only answer is peace💕

I hope dear friend. Too much war and hate today.
Just words?
Well words can be very powerful and you sir proved it.
This poem is true, we are responsible for what happens, everyone of us and in a couple of generations to come they will either perish or evolve.
