Imagine there is no war, my friend.

Imagine there is no war, my friend.

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Just words

"

Imagine there is no war, my friend.

        Dear child
The world weeps blood.
Whole world blinded by hate and separation.
Who will tell the child?
He was born with no chance or opportunity.
Born to learn to survive daily.
Living in refugees camps. Unwanted and forgotten.

--------------------------------
        By a River
I drove by a river with food, water and medicine on a Red Cross mission.
I saw bodies floating in the river.
Me and my soldiers dragged the bodies to the shore.
24 people. Old people and children.
Beaten to death and left.
Me and my soldiers cried for the people killed for the sake of religion.
We prayed they found a better place.
I wondered did God see the pain and the suffering of our world?
I learned this day how cold man can be.

learned this day

Thank you my friend for reading and the comment.
Heartbreaking, the effect in years to come will be something unfathomable...so much pain and senseless death and those left in horrific circumstances stand no chance if we don't unite and voice together...I pray that humanity sees the error of its way sooner than later...soul shattering...thank you for voicing such a poignant and needed poem...

You are absolutely right....Your welcome...
Never give up hope. I could recite examples, but honestly, all you have to do is watch around you. There seems to be a glimmer, even if it is only yours.

A profound write John, war is a necessary evil in some ways to cull our destruction and progress on nature. I hate white man for its superiority/ greed on everything, as countless animals become extinct due to white man. Only the North American Indians and other tribes respected nature and kept the balance. I don't like war but every war has an underlying motive. If the middle east had no oil would America be interested in partaking? And then there's religion.... the starter of all wars!! A great write John

Thank you Luisa. I appreciate the comment.
No God asks for innocent lifes to be taken away
A world free of hate
and you and me
She is right
and he is wrong

We are not angels
but i guess some try to be that and get to purity

I agree. Man's free-will is leading us to a dead-end. Thank you for reading and the comment.
