           The perfect sea

You lifted your red dress and you walked into the sea.

Perfect feet danced with the moving waves.

I looked to the sky and thanked the spirit of life.

Thank you for the gift of perfect beauty.

She blessed my eyes and my heart.

The Gods of sea. Smiled upon us.

The kind wind whispered to me. She is the perfect sea.

Wild and free.

What a lovely scenery you painted in here, CP. The poetic persona is obviously in love but what i most love in this piece is the poetic persona's sense of gratitude.

What a nice and beautiful, short poem. I really like the image about it. The sea, the beauty of the woman, an observing lover. (Though a little note: Isn't it supposed to be thanked/past tense instead of thanks?)
