Old man Standing by dirt and gravestone. I whispered I miss you my grandfather. I have become you. Your words have became my words. Thank you dear friend.
I love you I love you, I love you, I need you. Forget me not my love.
Heart Love didn't break my heart. Life did. I learn all good things must end with screams and tears. Please my dear friend. Give me hope. Please give me enough rope to hang on.
Old man - over the time of my life , I will become half as good as my late grandfather, I know. I adore him is a major understatement. Thank you for bringing back those memories.
I love you - personal cynic ego tells me I have come to hate the word "need" . I want the one whom I love, not need. Majority doesn't relate to this or embrace self- sufficiency. But for most others, this poem must be a joyful read. But what we all wish, is that the other person doesn't give our memory away.
Heart - Please give me enough rope to hang on. Perfect end. Inspirational.

Alone, your poems are awesome, but the great part is that all three are also one piece, not sure if that makes sense. But I love them, not over complicated, they're just genuine and clean.
All in all I loved it, them.. Thanks for sharing

Thank you Ghost. I appreciate the positive comment.
Ok so I'm a big fan of minimalist poetry, and this hit my sweet tooth hard. Simply amazing all 3 of them. I especially enjoyed "Heart", so dark yet so well worded. Really like your style

Thank you. I'm trying express more with less. Hard to do and learn.
No matter how much we try to hold back time, we can not. No one is able to. Yes, we do become our parents and our grandparents, but that is not a bad thing really. Your first poem made me think of this. The second poem is what we all hope for....to be remembered. Perhaps when the breeze blows and the stars come out brightly, perhaps when the ocean kisses the shore, but at some point. Will they remember? No way to know for sure, but we can hope. The third poem is so wise, John. Life teaches us some lessons we would rather not learn, but the truth is, there is always hope. There is always tomorrow. I enjoyed all three of your poems. Well written. Lydi**
