Only you

Only you

A Poem by Coyote Poetry

Old poetry of love

"
                               Only you

I drank in the beauty of river clear blue eyes. I watched you dance on the almost empty beach freely and unafraid of the opinions of the beach goers nearby.

I made a wish upon the first star of the coming dust. Only for you and I upon the quiet beach dancing with the free and uncontrolled sea.

I was drowning in your beauty and I stood being condemn to wish for this day and moment forever. You were just a child in heart, love was sweet and tender to you still. I knew when I kissed your lips and felt the softness of your body near. I would be lost forever in the sweet dreams of you.

Only you,  could save me and I knew when you came near and asked. Johnnie, please dance with me. Let's create new visions and dreams together.

We danced with the waves and drank sweet red wine. I held you close and told you. You are my only wish and last name I will speak. I love you my kind and sweet muse.

My muse whispered ancient and sweet words. I have loved and I have lost myself in you . You are safe with me and I know I'm safe with you. You are the moon and I'm the sky. We need each other.

I love the carefree attitude you portrayed in the character! It really made the overall piece flow nicely and was a lovely read!

John...Magnificent. I was Deeply MOVED with your amorous heart. I just felt this poem. The title drew me in because I Love the Platters(Ah O Only Yooou)...Anyhoo, and it's been a while since I read a coyote poem...it was ethereal in the moment. Poems like this one leaves me in awe. 1993...what a good year and awesome era. A wonderful poem.

I wish I had a young muse, with broad-shoulders …. alas I think my muse is more likely an old man with a sore back. lol. Another very beautiful write, here.
