Fairytale ending

Fairytale ending

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Sometime life is fair. We can have a fairytale ending when all things fall into place properly.

"
                        Fairytale ending

Love letters are sent.
New hope is born.
Sweet Julie wrote.
I need you here.
I want our old times to become our new times.

Sweet words written on paper make a sad heart content.
"I love you more than you will know."
Words can lead us to hell and paradise.
I learn good things come to the people who wait.

My bags are packed and  I'm waiting for the train for Frankfort.
Soon I will return to her.
I hold the letter in my hands.
I wish for a fairytale ending.

Where love conquers all.
Where all things fall into place.

Sweet and beautiful Julie is waiting.
I hope she loved the stranger I have become.
Love is tender. Easily broken.

I find my Julie In Ann Arbor, Michigan.
She wrapped her arms around me.
I smell the sweetness of her perfume.
I feel the warmth of her embrace.
She gives me gentle, kind smile.

She whispered.
"We will be okay my love."

Thank you. You are very kind. Just a poem for a good memory.
Your poems are consistently moving. It is sad that being away for too long changes every thing; even unconditional love has a condition of proximity.

I see some things that can be easily fixed:
L1: "Love Letters are sent."
L14: "Where love conquers all"
L17: "Easily broken"
L22: "She gives me a gentle, kind smile"

Thank you for your beautiful words

Thank you for the help and reading. I do appreciate.
Amazing how much I relate to this. I am currently a student at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and my girlfriend and I have been sending letters back and forth all year. The connection we have through expressing ourselves in written word is strong and touching, but the "stranger" feeling is also very present each time we visit. Your poem touches me deeply. Thank you very much!

You're welcome.
I liked this. Short and sweet but very deep. You presented a very nice story.

"I hope she loved the stranger I have become." - This line alone brought out a lot of emotion for me.

Thank you for sharing!
