You are the love of my life

You are the love of my life

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

We forget sometimes to show love to the people who truly loved us.

"
You are the love of my life

Once we danced in tropical clubs hidden in the dark corners of Honduras.
We lavished in a love without fear of  boundaries and distance.

You open new doors for a blind man living for nothing and
trying to find  a quick death on a futile  road leading to no-where.

Did I tell you?
You are so beautiful to me.
Did I tell you?
I would bleed for you, die for you to be safe.

Few men know harmony and they listen to the allure of the night.
Men are tempted by beauty, war and drink.
Neglect of the love, kindness and family lead old men wishing they
knew real love and found peace in the arms of one woman.

Today we act like strangers.
Allowing too many small things to separate us.
Shallow gifts of love leave the heart to mourn.
The curse of life steal laughter, desire and hope.

Does love die?
Can you rebirth what is lost?

Mementos of love are hanging on old walls.
Photos of people who knew joy and happiness.
The photos feel like people who lived in latter lives.

Can sleeping passion and love be rebirth?
Can the sweet melody of love return?

Did I tell you?
How beautiful you are to me.
I would be a empty shell without you.
Did I tell you?
You are the love of my life.

Thank you my sweet wife.
Forgive me for for getting lost and confuse.
You are still the only sweet dream in my life.

Love is like a flower garden.
Need love and care to keep alive.
Must be tender and kind to allow the plant to grow and bloom.
A beautiful flower had attention and was treated with tenderness.

Hi Coyote,

I don't review you as frequently as perhaps I should. And yes, there are typos, but you are an old hand. I leave that to you. You know the drill.

Okay, this is a very passionate piece. If there has been a breakup, my deepest sympathies and hopes for the future.

Yes. We can lose that which is most important to us, and we can lose it without noticing it slip away and without knowing why. This is a human flaw. We don't see what we need to see because we are too absorbed in other things in life. It is our tragedy. It is the making of Shakespearian plays for how we let the important go and fixate on the trivial aspects of the here and now, because somehow life thrust these things before our faces and that's all that we can see.

"Did I tell you?
How beautiful you are to me.
I would be a empty shell without you.
Did I tell you?
You are the love of my life."

How tragic if this message is not delivered with the passion and attention it needs. How horrible if the message is doubted by the loved one that needs to believe it beyond anything else.

We are frail. We are far from perfect. We have so many faults. It seems we are doomed to be unhappy because we cannot deliver what we need to our loved ones. The only way to survive is to adopt a sense of extreme tolerance. It is a life's lesson that extends beyond personal matters. We must count on our ability to see through things that would normally trouble us, even make us mad, and to see that these are not the original intensions. We must adopt extreme tolerance to survive this world and to make things work. Patience and tolerance are wonderful gifts that seem regularly discarded in the modern word. We need to recapture this.

Off the soap box now. This piece was greatly enjoyed. High marks.

All my best wishes,

Rick
