Please don't forget me.

Please don't forget me.

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

For Jade Innes. Lost too soon. The good people leave us too soon.

"
   Please don't forget me.

Many people will touch our life.
They will leave kind words and soft touches upon our mind and heart.
Faces with hopeful smiles and a offer of friendship.
Rare precious gifts we must hold close and return the gift.

Some flames of life burn-out too soon.
Leaving us with sadness and question.

I will remember you.

Some people leave whispers in the wind.
Request not to be forgotten.

A sweet and kind girl, writer and friend.
Left too soon.

We must hold friendship near.
Always leave with love and positive words.
We never know when the last words are written or spoken.

Author's Note

Coyote Poetry
I was sadden today. We lost many good people in my four year on Writer's cafe. This is a lesson. Be kind and gentle with all people. Allow the memory of Jade Innes remind us to treat people with fairness and kindness.

The fear of d4ath not only comes from the unknown factor about it, but also the fear of no one caring and of no one remembering.
An excellent poem, there is a great many things that put this poem in a sortt of balance, the message of always remembering and never forgeting your friends and loved ones, whichvalone is a happy statement, but also the tone of loss. But it is allvdriven home by the over all passion and connection it has with allvhumans. The trails of loss allvseem to try to break us, but it is the least we can do to remember them for what we loved them for and never forget.

I did not know Jade but this is a heart felt tribute to her. I remember losing Nathan Strange and AK here. It is so sad when a light goes out

We lost a few people in the past year. It is very sad when they are so young.
So touching, CP. It's true that we should treat people with fairness and kindness...

Thanks for this beautiful though moving piece.

I spoke to her once or twice. Never really got to know her. The last line is a killer.

Touching writer, John!
