What will I remember?

What will I remember?

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Life is long. People are many. What is truly important?

"

What will I remember?

Days pass by.

Life goes on.

What will I hold on to?

Family

Family
Grandparent, family.
Love?
Love?
Friendship?
War?

Kindness and love is all we have left in the end.

A man with a handful of bills and children at his feet.

He know love and what is important.

As days go by, what will I remember?
Soft and shallow goals,
Of wishes unfulfilled?
Or kind and gentle hands,
Family, friend, and kin.

Something that popped into my head after reading this.

You make valid points. Family, the ones you choose to have and the ones that despite being thrust upon you, fill your heart are the true joys in life. Time wears away all things. Only through family does anything worthwhile ever last.

Thank you for sharing.

You will remember everything but only have limited access to your memories.
The ones you consider important enough to visit time and time again.

Simple and clear as a message of what's important. Good read.

The wisdom in your words are crystal clear and never more does a point need to be made today. I love the broken imagery as the pics pass while I read them. This is a neat medium that I haven't used before. Therefore, I applaud you for trying this in this way. As usual, you make me think, reflect and apply an axiom that rings true.

This is different and very unique in its own poetic way! I love how you added pictures and below each of them some description too. I like how you allowed your audience to scroll down and watch as you developed in your pictures into who you are today. I really like your Author's Note too! I'm quite grateful for the laughter and friends that I'm blessed with. They're like my own personal gold :)
Wonderfully written, Coyote --like always!
